Fasting
Asalamo alaikum,
Brothers and sisters in Islam,
As you see, fasting has been made obligatory for us during the whole month of Holy Ramadan.
| . O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become righteous. Ref (Sura Albaqara verse 183) | |
| However, in case of being sick or on a journey, the almighty Allah has blessed us with certain exemptions which have been narrated in the following ayat of Quran | |
| (Fasting) a certain number of days. So whoever among you is sick, or on a journey, then an equal number of other days (should be made up). And for those who can afford it there is a ransom, the feeding of a needy person. Then whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast, it is better for you if only you knew. Ref (Sura Albaqara verse 184) | |
